Joshua Milbers

Co-Founder & CEO

As the heart and backbone of milbo, Joshua leads the company, drives business development, and stays close to clients. With a Computer Science & Management thesis on software architecture from TUM and years of entrepreneurial experience, he brings vision and practical expertise to every project.

Yannik Schmidt

Partner & CTO

With his completed Masters in Computer Science at the TUM, Yannik has joined milbo as partner and CTO after years of successful collaboration. His hands-on approach to software engineering combined with his deep experience as a software architect provides the perfect technical foundation for guiding both strategy and execution.

Ragshanan Ragunathan

Frontend Developer

One of our newer team members, Ragshanan (or Ragshy), recently completed his Master’s in Electrical Engineering at TUM. With a passion for coding from the very beginning, he now contributes to milbo as a frontend developer and project manager.

Mariana El Banate Pereira

Marketing & Sales

Mari is the creative mind behind the milbo universe, seamlessly navigating between project management, marketing strategy, and enhancing the overall brand presence. Her expertise in design and brand strategy allows her to shape milbo’s identity while driving awareness and delivering impactful, creative solutions across all projects.

Noah Milbers

Co-Founder & COO

Noah keeps milbo running smoothly — analyzing processes, improving workflows, and handling daily operations behind the scenes. With a background in Physics from LMU and soon starting Computer Science at TUM, he brings sharp analytical thinking and a calm, focused approach to the team.

Simon Seehausen

Backend Developer

As a core backend developer Simon excels at writing algorithms with unmatched precision. While completing his Master’s in Computer Science at TUM, Simon was first introduced to milbo through Munich’s elite university consulting club, Academy Consult e.V where he worked with our team for years before joining milbo.

Elijah Milbers

Co-Founder & Legal Operations

Elijah is currently pursuing his Law degree at LMU while leading project management and legal operations. With a growing expertise in legal counsel and a talent for strategic thinking, he is set to grow into the role of Head of Business Development and Legal.

Paul Milbers

Co-Founder & CFO

With 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, Paul brings invaluable insight to milbo. While running his own film production company, Writers in Production, he supports the team as a strategic advisor, legal counsel, and oversees finances.

December 2020
— The Beginning

Joshua and his brothers start their entrepreneurial journey as freelancers, initially focusing on building websites, e-commerce shops, and mobile apps. Their primary goal: gaining hands-on experience while enjoying the process. Simultaneously, Joshua embarks on his studies at TUM, while his brothers remain in school.

June 2021
— Expanding Services

With a growing client base, milbo broadens its service offering beyond software development, incorporating Hardware & IT Infrastructure solutions. The company begins supporting clients such as Schaltkulisse, helping them scale their digital presence and ensuring seamless end-to-end operational efficiency.

March 2022
— Strengthening Partnerships &
Expanding Venture

milbo ventures into new areas by establishing strategic partnerships with companies like LeadingVision and 4Collection. This expansion reflects the company’s transition from a pure software provider to a multifaceted tech company capable of developing end-to-end products, including its own SaaS offerings.

— AI Hackathon Collaboration

milbo co-leads a hackathon in collaboration with TUM and Microsoft to develop the first European university AI-student service chatbot. This initiative showcases milbo's commitment to cutting-edge AI technologies and positions the company at the forefront of innovation in student services.

— Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

milbo signs a long-term strategic partnership with a leading German Layer-1 blockchain. This partnership not only elevates milbo’s market position but also paves the way for significant scaling, increasing the workforce and positioning the company as a formidable player in the tech ecosystem.

September 2025
— Scaling & Brand Establishment

milbo continues to expand, both in terms of team size and service offerings. New services like SEO, analytics, and digital marketing are added to the portfolio. The company refines its own social media and brand presence, reinforcing its position as an established industry leader while engaging with an expanding global client base.

January 2026
— A New Chapter

Long-term partner and master in computer science, Yannik, joins milbo as CTO and partner, enabling the company to take the next strategic step. With Yannik's leadership in technology, milbo now focuses on transforming its MVPs into enterprise-level software solutions. This marks the beginning of a new phase, as milbo continues to work closely with a wide range of startups, helping them scale their products to meet the demands of the enterprise market.
